New function: encryption level selection
– Encryption Level Selection. You can now select the encryption level to protect files on your secret disk. By default, no encryption is applied. Available options include:
1) Weak but extremely fast PkZIP encryption;
2) Modern AES encryption (two variants, with the strongest option being slower but highly secure).
Note: Encryption (and compression) is recommended for SSD disks or if your secret disk contains only a few files. For larger file collections (or HDD disks), enabling these features may take additional time depending on the data size.
To use this new function click “Preferences” and the select tab “Encryption”.
– Improved “Install Later” Behavior. When clicking “Install later” (after detecting a new version), the app will now suppress update notifications for 7 days (previously just 1 hour). This feature is exclusive to the Professional version.
– Minor bug fixes and optimizations.
