The archiver is closely integrated with the ZipSend service, which allows you to organize the storage of a large file online and provide the recipient with a direct link to download. To send a compressed file, users will not have to interrupt their work and launch a separate application. Thanks to the updated data compression engine, the new version of WinZip guarantees the most efficient use of 64-bit processor resources. Data compression and decompression is now much faster than in previous versions. And improved preview tools will allow you not only to familiarize yourself with the contents of a Zip archive, but also to study and edit files in other popular formats such as 7z and RAR. In addition, users will be able to convert archives in different formats to the Zip format, as well as write files created with WinZip 18.0 to Blu-ray optical media.
The application includes a useful new tool, WinZip System Scanner, designed to scan your system to evaluate disk performance and diagnose possible problems. The program will promptly detect defects and allow you to use one of the third-party utilities to fix them.
