MSI Afterburner 4.6.7 Beta 3

Guru3D and MSI have been working hard on AfterBurner, today we release an updated this revision of Afterburner, this application successfully secured the leading position on graphics card utilities.

MSI Afterburner 4.6.7 Beta 3 – Change Log

Added a Help button to the Voltage/Frequency Editor toolbar. Since its introduction in 2016, the editor has supported a rich set of keyboard shortcuts that simplify voltage/frequency curve editing. Many users overlook the built-in help system and release notes, so this dedicated button provides another way to discover the editor’s capabilities. Even experienced users may find shortcuts they were previously unaware of.
The reference temperature is now embedded into the voltage/frequency curve and stored in application profiles. Many users are unaware that NVIDIA GPU Boost dynamically reshapes and shifts the curve based on GPU temperature. The reference temperature indicates the temperature at which the displayed curve was generated and reported by GPU Boost. It is now shown directly in the editor and updates automatically when a new curve is applied, imported, or refreshed using the F5 shortcut.
Added a new Ctrl + F5 shortcut to automate manual curve refreshes and help analyze thermal adjustments performed by GPU Boost. When activated, MSI Afterburner tracks temperature-related curve changes and exports curve states to readable text files for every 1°C temperature increment. The resulting <temperature>.vfc (VoltageFrequencyCurve) files are stored in the VFCDump folder and can be analyzed manually or opened in the editor for visual comparison.
Added Ctrl + I for importing a voltage/frequency curve from a text exchange file. While primarily intended for use with thermal dump analysis generated via Ctrl + F5, it can also be used for manual curve imports.
Added Ctrl + E for exporting a voltage/frequency curve to a text exchange file. Exported data includes curve nodes, hardware GUID, driver version, reference temperature, and optional voltage or maximum frequency locks.
Added G and Shift + G shortcuts for GOTO-style node selection:
- G selects the node nearest to a specified voltage.
- Shift + G selects the node nearest to a specified frequency.
Added R for keyboard-based voltage range selection. Users can enter upper and lower voltage limits to select all nodes within that range.
Added Home and End shortcuts to select the first or last node, either globally or within the current selection range.
Added H and T shortcuts to select the curve head or tail starting from the currently selected node.
Added Ctrl + T and Shift + T for curve flattening operations starting from the selected node. These shortcuts automate two commonly used manual flattening methods:
- Shift + T generates variable offsets to align all tail nodes to a target frequency.
- Ctrl + T generates fixed negative offsets for all tail nodes.
Functionally, these shortcuts do not introduce new capabilities, but they streamline existing workflows:
- Shift + T on a target node is equivalent to selecting the tail with T, pressing Shift + Enter, then Enter.
- Ctrl + T on a target node is equivalent to moving to the next node with Tab, selecting the tail with T, and manually dragging all selected nodes downward.
